Shipping Policy

In most cases your products will ship in 3-5 business days if the items are in stock.  Depending on how far you live from our warehouse in Palo Alto, California, you order should arrive within 3-10 days from the shipping date.  We also offer a Rush Priority shipping service if you need your items faster and White Glove Service if you don't want to bother with any assembly. See below for pricing.  Please note that all umbrellas and cushions are made to order and will ship separately from your furniture in approximately 2-3 weeks.

Standard Shipping
We charge 10% of the total product cost for shipping & handling anywhere in the continental US (and anything under $100.00 ships for flat $10.95).  Please give us a call or send us an email at info@RegencyTeak.com for a shipping quote to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada (from Canada call 650-494-9025).  And, unless you live in California, where our warehouse is located, you PAY NO SALES TAX. Additional levels of delivery are available as optional choices.

Rush Priority Shipping Service:  We will ship your order in 1-2 days business days for 15% of the total product cost (anywhere in the continental US), if the items are in stock.   Transit time will be 2-7 business days depending on how far you live from our warehouse in Palo Alto, CA.

Both Standard and Rush Priority Shipping are curbside delivery only. Please note that it is not the shipper's responsibility to haul away any packaging.  Any damage to a box that is visible at the time of delivery requires that the customer immediately open the package and inspect the contents before accepting the delivery.  If there is any signifigant damage to the merchandise discovered upon opening the box, the package should be refused and returned immediately.  Any item accepted with a damaged box will not be eligible for return or refund.  If no damage is visible on the box, we highly recommend that you unpack all items within 48 hours of delivery.  In order to be eligible to exchange or return of any concealed damage to any merchandise, you must notify us and the carrier's agent of any damage to the product within 48 hours of receipt.  Save all cartons and packing materials so that they can be used in the case a return is necessary. Take digital photos of the damage product and packages for claims where applicable.

White Glove Service:  We will ship all your furniture fully assembled and wrapped in blankets, and put right where you want it on your patio for 20% of the total product cost (anywhere in the continental US), if the items are in stock.   Transit time will be 3-10 business days from the shipping date.

Rush Priority or White Glove Shipping requires a call to our Customer Service desk to arrange.  Before calling, please process your order on-line and then give us a call at 1-877-494-9020 Monday-Friday anytime between 10-5pm PST to upgrade your delivery service.

Lifetime Warranty
All Regency Teak furniture is warranted to the original purchaser for their lifetime against defects in the material and workmanship.

We wanted to keep the warranty to a simple sentence, but then the lawyers got involved and made us add the following language. But beyond all the words, the two most important things to us are your satisfaction and our reputation. Since we know those two things are directly linked, in the unlikely event you have any problems with our furniture, we are confident that we'll work it out.

Ok, now for the lawyers' version. This warranty only applies to Regency Teak branded furniture purchased on this site and does not apply to any other accessories, cushions, umbrellas or other items that do not carry the Regency Teak brand. Please refer to the manufacturer of any other brands, such as Treasure Garden umbrellas, for their respective warranties.  This "lifetime" warranty only covers Regency Teak branded furniture purchased by consumers and does not cover commercial orders, which have a one year warranty. 

The word "defects", as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections that impair the utility of the product. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear effects of the furniture. Normal wear and tear is defined as "the normal deterioration that is received by regular use of any piece of furniture."  This warranty does not cover damage, loss, or other conditions beyond Regency Teak's control such as damage resulting from unauthorized repair, negligence, misuse or abuse, acts of nature such as: wind damage, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fire, monsoons, typhoons, cyclones, infestation, mold, mildew, and any other events that are based on natural causes. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of furniture components having defects. If the furniture component is defective within the terms of the warranty, it will be the decision of Regency Teak as to which method of resolution is used to repair the defective component. This may include replacement of any item that can not be repaired. In the event of piece replacement, no assembly labor is included. If the customer feels that they can not re-assemble the defective component, the entire piece of furniture may be returned to our warehouse for replacement at no cost to the customer. It will however be the customer's responsibility to pay for all shipping charges.  We will only replace defective components of a particular piece of furniture. Replacement of the entire piece of furniture is not warranted unless ALL components of that piece of furniture are defective, a very, very highly unlikely scenario, given the impeccable quality of Regency Teak Furniture. Your Lifetime  Warranty begins the day your furniture is shipped and is not transferable to any other person or entity.  The terms of this warranty may change without notice, but will never be modified in such a way that eliminates customer protection for manufacturer's defects.

In the unlikely event that a component has a defect, we will require photos of the defect so that we can determine the extent of the defect and determine the most efficient solution to resolving the problem.  The photos need to be emailed to info@RegencyTeak.com for evaluation.

After we receive the photos, we will make a determination as to the best resolution. Of the options that we would potentially recommend, the most likely will be to acquire the services of a local woodworker/carpenter to repair the defect at our expense, which carries the least risk for additional damage while shipping defective items back and forth. We will reimburse the customer or pay the repairman directly for the repairs. If the customer decides that he would prefer to ship the defective piece to us, it will be the customer's responsibility to ensure that the packaging is sufficient to prevent further damage.  In any case, Regency Teak must be contacted prior to any shipment of defective pieces and before any third party repair person is contacted to receive a Repair or Return Authorization Number .

Whew, makes you wonder if lawyers are still being paid by the word.  But more to the point, you have our word that in the unlikely event that you have any problems with our furniture, we will do whatever necessary to resolve the issue quickly and professionally.
